CREATIVE CONVERSATIONS: Q-ART OPEN CRIT Griffin Gallery – 29th March 2014
This weekend I will be presenting my newest work in the Griffin Gallery.
Recent work is based in majority on abstract drawings, using black and red pen on paper. The process of creation oscillates between gesture of child-like intuitive doodles, or primodial geometric elements and highly controlled, quasi-architectonic mapping.
The intuitive drawings as a process of connecting with the inner energy in the body and the outer, so to speak, orchestration of the universal interconnecting energy, provide the possibility for unlimited re-creation, re-construction of the abstract, non-objectified dimension.

Exploration of the New possibilities – Tuning in
My recent work has been inspired by the ongoing exploration of the Harmony and Chaos.
The ‘Series -homage to Plato’ is drawn from the idea of the Platonic Cave, describing what is necessary for us to achieve reflective understanding. But even without it, it remains true that our very ability to think and to speak depends on the Forms.
For the terms of the language we use to get their meaning by “naming” the Forms that the objects we perceive participate in. Ultimately, we are unable to escape or see the higher illusionary reality…

Computer manipulated drawing and photography provide a realm for recreation of the new rules, which can be discovered by tuning in to alignment with who we really are…

Blackness or rather visual silence is a comment on/homage to Malevich’s Black Square conjoined with a purity of Beethoven’s Symphony no 3 .. and it is providing a platform for critical and fleeting moments of desirability and fixation on the objects..
Work is designed to be exhibited as a wall projection…
